3D Production Services
Dedicated 3D video cameras and related equipment didn’t exist and the methods of delivery and viewing were sketchy, but there were clients out there who wanted the option of 3D for their presentations and demanded high quality.
Stereomedia Productions was formed in 1987 by long time film & video producer and stereographer Anthony Coogan, to provide 3D Video production and production services to those companies, institutions and individuals interested in delivering their messages in 3D but couldn’t justify the high costs associated with producing 3D on film and the transfer to video.
Shortly after formation, the company was producing and photographing projects for Foxwoods Resorts and Casinos, Novartis, Hennessy Cognac, Volkswagen and many others.
High quality 3D production services, cost-effective pricing and a long history of delivering dynamic imagery is what Stereomedia’s reputation is based upon.
Design & Manufacturing
In mid 1992, Stereomedia designed, developed, manufactured and sold over 10,000 electronic 3D viewing systems for standard home and industrial TVs, VTRs and DVD players. The Reality® 3D Viewing System was wireless and pre dates all existing wireless liquid crystal viewing glasses currently being offered by Panasonic, Samsung, JVC, Sony, Expand and others.
Currently, Stereomedia is marketing electronic glasses that work with all existing HD3D TVs and monitors using electronic glasses, either 120 or 240Hz. Please CLICK HERE for more details.
The VCR, Tivo, DVD, DVR are all innovative technology upgrades to be sure and today's screens are larger and thinner, audio can have six or more separate channels, but one thing has always remained constant... everything on the screen was flat-- just images painted on the inside of a piece of glass. Only an abstract perception of what was real.
Stereomedia Management is convinced the true future of 3D
is in the home and not in digital motion picture theaters.
Theatrical 3D will certainly play a primary role in the expansion, but Hollywood will not be able to meet the demand for content due to the limited number of 3D theaters and the outstanding costs associated with producing 3D media for large venues.
It is estimated that by the end of this decade there may be only 10,000 3D-equipped digital theaters scattered across America. However, at that same time there will likely be more than 15 to 20 million HD3D-able television screens and a public that prefers viewing multidimensional content and will have begun to look upon standard 2D media in the same way they looked at black & white when color finally arrived.
The public has maintained a pent-up desire for 3D television in spite of the numerous failed attempts over the years to bring it into their homes and unfortunately for the public, the 3D experience they were offered was fleeting. Free archaic red and blue glasses from pizza companies and Pepsi promotions made for a good party but didn’t provide good 3D. All of those miss-fires have come to an end with the introduction of digital television.
Stereomedia intends to take advantage of the climate-for-change now occurring in the film and video industries and that for the first time strongly encourages the emergence of realistic high-resolution multi-dimensional television programming.
Stereomedia intends to be the first company structured as a comprehensive multi-dimensional video telecommunication company and take advantage of their long history of 3D production experience to establish a business that will focus directly on the home market.
Stereomedia is inviting strategic alliances and investors that may be interested in taking advantage of this opportunity and reap the benefits of establishing a solid 3D home entertainment market.
The public has always been promised that 3D Television
would be part of the 21st Century.
Stereomedia has the team, the strategy & plan and over
20 years of experience to deliver that Promise.
